Citizens Bank

In 1957 a group of businessmen and farmers felt a strong need for a local financial institution. The group raised $250,000.00 in capital, was granted a charter and opened for business on February 4, 1958.

Since those early days, we've steadily grown by staying focused on our customers and the community where they live. Today, Citizens Bank has assets of $101,000,000.00. Every dollar of the growth has been gained "the old fashioned way"--We've earned it from our customers.

The bank remains at its' original location. We have expanded our building as the growth has demanded it. In the summer of 2000 the bank was completely remodeled inside and out. On December 1, 2006 in an attempt to better server our customers we opened a branch at 722 N Martin St in East Prairie, MO
